Well, that’s all of us today.

Although brief, this morning’s Amazon replenishment got the week off to a good start. The retailer’s first Xbox delivery in nearly two weeks lasted nearly two minutes. Unlike the PS5, the console was accessible to everyone, regardless of Prime member status.

If you missed it, don’t worry. We expect more Xbox stock to arrive later this week, so join us again tomorrow to be the first to know when Microsoft’s console comes back.

You can play Xbox games on your laptop

You don’t actually need an Xbox Series X to play Xbox Series X games, just a fairly fast internet connection and a compatible streaming device.

Xbox Cloud Gaming streams games from Microsoft’s servers to your console, laptop, or phone, through your web browser or the Xbox app. How does cloud gaming work? Well, it’s basically like being on a Zoom call with a game you control, meaning you can jump into new games with the push of a button rather than waiting for your download to finish.

Cloud gaming requires an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription (£ 32.99,, which unlocks on-demand access to over 100 games. Fortunately, decent laptops are much easier to find than the Xbox Series X. If you’re considering an upgrade, check out our list of the best laptops in 2021.

When was the last time the Microsoft Store had Xbox stock?

You’d think the official Xbox store would be the best place to find the Xbox Series X in stock, but the retailer has to fight for the limited supply of consoles like everyone else.

The store last had the Xbox Series X in stock on September 7, and before that on August 25, when it opened preorders for the limited edition. Infinite halo Xbox Pack.

When will John Lewis & Partners restock the Xbox?

The retailer never replenishes until 7 a.m. sharp, so at this point in the morning we can safely assume that the historic department store won’t be selling any Xboxes today. That doesn’t mean, however, that we aren’t keeping an eye on this retailer.

We would never have let our guard down like that.
