Xbox is offering three free games for the weekend, with selections including a popular shooter, beat’em up, and a recent sports game.
Xbox fans had a lot to play this week, with Game Pass adding Battlefield 5 to its Cloud Gaming service, as well as Cris Tales, Last stop, and Raji: an ancient epic. However, for those who want a little something extra in their free time this weekend, Microsoft will be offering additional titles through its weekly Free Play Days promotion.
The offer will last until Sunday, July 25 at 11:59 p.m. PT, and will allow Xbox Live Gold and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers to experience any of the games listed. This week’s lot is made up of three games: Cobra Kai: The Karate Kid Saga Continues, Battlefield 1, and Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games – The Official Video Game. Gamers will also be able to get their hands on some of the titles for less if they enjoy their try, with two of the three games getting big price cuts on the Microsoft Store.
Cobra Kai: the Karate Kid saga continues draws inspiration from the Netflix show of the same name, seeing players choose between siding with the old Karate kid protagonist Daniel LaRusso and his students at Miyagi-Do Karate, or Johnny Lawrence and the Cobra Kai dojo. Along the way, they will be able to engage in some arcade arcade action as they take control of several Cobra Kai characters and fight waves of enemies. The game is currently 50% off and can be purchased for $ 20.
Free Play Days: Xbox Live Gold and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members can play Cobra Kai: The Karate Kid Saga Continues, Battlefield 1, and Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 – The Official Video Game for free this weekend. Details here: https://t.co/dtDNy3EdAz

Meanwhile, Battlefield 1 seen the Battlefield Franchise adventure in the harrowing conflicts of WWI, offering players a full-fledged campaign and full-scale online battles. It seems like the perfect time to return to the shooter of 2016 given the recent reveal of Battlefield 2042, which will see players fight their way through futuristic war zones while using new weapons and dodging insane weather effects. For those who appreciate Battlefield 1 this weekend, they can buy its Standard Edition for 70% off, which means it only costs $ 6. If they want the âRevolution Editionâ they can get it for just $ 2 more, grabbing the game’s four post-launch expansions in the process.
To finish, Tokyo Olympics 2020 is a particularly timely addition, as it actually celebrates the Olympic ceremony that began earlier today in Tokyo. The game allows players to enjoy many of the events on offer including track, free swimming, boxing, long jump, basketball and many more. Tokyo Olympics 2020 only released from Japan a month ago, so it didn’t get a discount, remaining at its original retail price of $ 39.99.
The trio of titles can be downloaded from the Microsoft Store, where they will remain free for Xbox Live Gold and Game Pass Ultimate subscribers until Sunday. Xbox Live Gold members can also still access free games with Gold for the month, with lineup including Rock of Ages 3: Make or Break, Midway Arcade Origins, and Planet Alpha.
