Sycamores in the NFL – Week 6 Updates

HIGH EARTH, Ind. –Robert Tonyan, Jr. represented the Sycamores on the field last week in NFL Week 6 as the Green Bay Packers faced the Chicago Bears.

Tonyan has been targeted three times and recorded two catches for 10 yards in the Packers’ 24-14 win over the Bears at Soldier Field last weekend. For the season, Tonyan is tied for third in the Green Bay roster with 11 catches for 92 yards, while the fourth-year pro added a touchdown against Detroit in week two.

Dominique Dafney continues to make progress to return to the field and was designated to return from the injured reserve last Wednesday. He was placed on the IR before Week 3 due to a hip injury, but trained with the team on Wednesday and is expected to be active in the coming weeks.

Jonas Griffith is still in IR with the Denver Broncos and was off the field last Sunday in their 34-24 loss to the Las Vegas Raiders at Empower Field at Mile High Stadium.

The Griffith Broncos (3-3) are back on the field this week in the Thursday night contest as Denver heads to Cleveland for a 8:20 p.m. ET kickoff on FOX, the NFL Network and Amazon Prime. . The Tonyan and Dafney Packers (5-1) host the Washington football team on Sunday afternoon with the kick-off set for 1 p.m. on FOX.
