MIAA Super Bowl schedule released; Shawsheen will play on December 2


LOWELL — The Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association has announced the matchups and schedule for eight state soccer championships to be played at Gillette Stadium on Friday, December 2 and Saturday, December 3.

Shawsheen Tech will play for the Division 5 State Championship on Dec. 2 at 5:30 p.m. The Rams (11-0) are undefeated after outscoring Dover-Sherborn, 21-14, in a hard-fought game last Saturday.

Shawsheen will face North Reading (10-1) for the state crown. The game will be streamed via NFHSNetwork.com.

Match times are approximate except for the first matches of the day. Friday’s games begin at 3 p.m., with kickoff Saturday at 10 a.m. at Gillette, home of the New England Patriots.

Games will start 15 minutes after the end of the previous game.

Friday schedule

3 p.m.: Division 7 Championship – West Boylston vs. St. Bernard’s. 5:30 p.m.: Division 5 Championship – Shawsheen Tech vs. North Reading. 8 p.m.: Division 4 Championship – Duxbury vs. Grafton.

Saturday schedule

10 a.m.: Division 8 Championship – Hull vs KIPP Academy. 12:30 p.m.: Division 1 Championship – Springfield Central vs. St. John’s Prep. 3 p.m.: Division 6 Championship – Stoneham vs. St. Mary’s. 5:30 p.m.: Division 3 Championship – Milton vs. Wakefield Memorial. 8:00 p.m.: Division 2 Championship: Catholic Memorial against King Philip.

Tickets are on sale now through Ticketmaster. No tickets will be sold at the Gillette Stadium box office. All tickets will be digital and will only be accessible via a mobile device. Fans can access and manage mobile tickets through the Gillette Stadium app, which is available on the App Store (for iPhone users) and Google Play Store (for Android users). Fans are recommended to add their mobile tickets to their Apple Wallet or Google Pay to avoid busy network connections during the game. Tickets are $17 for adults and $14 for students/seniors. Children 5 and under will have free entry. Ticket price includes parking, admission to games and a $3 discount on adult admission to the Patriots Hall of Fame (game ticket must be presented). Friday tickets give access to all three matches on Friday and Saturday tickets give access to five matches on Saturday. Please note that returning to this event is prohibited, but fans are encouraged to visit Patriot Place before and after games each day.

All fans will enter the stadium through the Ticketmaster gate at Enel Plaza. The Patriots Foundation will also be accepting donations during the MIAA State Football Championships for their annual toy drive to benefit children in need. Fans can bring in new, unboxed toys in the blue and white collection bins near the Ticketmaster door. Gillette Stadium’s see-through bag policy will be in effect for all eight state championship games.
