Dr. Fred Hill, facility and senior pastor of Greater Refuge Church in Pleasant Grove, Alabama, has completed his new book “A Proactive Approach to Leadership Transition in Ministry”: A Useful and Informative Guide Designed to help departments understand how to effectively equip and coach the next generation of leaders.

Dr. Fred Hill has a strong spiritual foundation with a strong knowledge of scripture. He has training in clinical pastoral education from the Ingalls Center of Pastoral Care. He holds a master’s degree in theology and apologetics from Liberty University and a doctorate in ministry with high honors from the Liberty University School of Divinity.

Dr. Fred Hill is currently employed as a hospice chaplain and bereavement coordinator for a hospice service covering central Alabama. He proudly loves the role of husband, father and grandfather. Dr. Fred Hill maintains a strong desire to serve and fulfill God’s purpose and appeal to his life.
