Star Wars: Andor

For those who haven’t seen it yet, the “Andor” series explores a new perspective on the Star Wars galaxy, focusing on Cassian Andor’s (Diego Luna) journey to discover the difference he can make. The series tells the story of the budding rebellion against the Empire and how people and planets became involved. It is a time filled with danger, deception and intrigue where Cassian will embark on the path that is destined to transform him into a rebel hero. The original live-action series is created by Tony Gilroy and produced by Kathleen Kennedy, Tony Gilroy, Sanne Wohlenberg, Diego Luna and Michelle Rejwan.

Disney dropped the final trailer for Star Wars: Andor in September, which you can see below:

Nicholas Britell (Score Composer) notes his enthusiasm for the project, saying, “I am extremely grateful to Tony Gilroy and Lucasfilm for giving me this opportunity and entrusting me with creating the score for ‘Andor’. with Tony on this epic series was deeply inspiring. Having grown up as a huge fan of the Star Wars galaxy, it was an exciting and actually quite emotional experience to be a part of this universe. I tried to create a musical landscape that feels authentic and integral to the story. Tony and I explored every nuance – from creating the music on camera, to creating the ever-changing score, to imagining the unique variations of each episode themed. I’m so excited to release this Volume 1 of the original music to “Andor”, featuring the soundtrack from Episodes 1-4. More to come!”
