Richard Bryant, a published author and professional photographer, has completed his new book “Who Killed the Black Businessman?” ”: a personal and gripping account that highlights the difficulties faced by the author growing up in the sixties and the obstacles to success that affected black businessmen.

“This novel is about the death of black business owners and the majority of a family headed by a seventeen-year-old boy,” Bryant writes. “As we look at the journey of a young man – all of his experiences in the 60s and the creation of a family in the 70s – and we look at this elderly man in 2014, sitting here at the window, at this place and at this hour, he wonders, could his life have been better? Could he have dealt with racism and unrest better?
